Cherry Blossoms

The week after Hong Kong is slightly blurry. I remembered being utterly exhausted, but excited about seeing my students and catching up with some friends. That week happened to be peak cherry blossom time, so on Wednesday my friend T and her adorable toddler J invited me to join them downtown. I adore J and his beautiful mama, so I was happy go with them. I love DC in the spring, and I'm so glad I didn't miss the cherry blossoms! It was a perfect, crisp spring morning. I drove down with T and J, and we scored a great parking spot over by the Jefferson memorial. I don't think seeing the monuments will ever get old. I really love living near DC.
